Francesco Milanesio began his career as a professional photographer at an early age, following a family tradition.

Since the 1980's he has been travelling regularly to the East; in particular to India.

His explorations have afforded him the opportunity to use his camera to capture astonishing natural landscapes, and also to portray the social fabric and everyday life that he witnessed, with a special emphasis on the relationship that man shares with both nature and religion.

He has been the feature artist in travel books, and his photographs have been used in several international magazines.

His extensive collection of images is a diverse and captivating selection of natural landscapes, architecture, and portraiture from many countries including India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bhutan, China, Bangladesh, Guatemala, Bolivia and Peru.

Presently, he is available for worldwide freelance photo reportages.
